ABOUT AETHER PHC

Moving art, conceived as part of the space

AETHER creates original moving artworks for architectural interiors, hospitality environments, workplaces and considered public spaces.

Each work is conceived for continuous display — slow in rhythm, seamless in movement and designed to become part of the atmosphere of a space rather than compete with it.

The screen is treated not simply as a surface for content, but as an architectural element capable of carrying light, colour, movement and presence.

CODE AS MATERIAL

Built through systems.
Shaped by hand.

Every AETHER artwork begins with code.

Custom generative systems are developed to control movement, transformation, rhythm, depth, colour and time. These systems become the working material from which each composition is created.

The process combines computational precision with an intuitive visual practice. Parameters are developed, tested and refined until movement feels deliberate, balanced and natural.

The result is not an endlessly generated stream.

Each AETHER work is a finished moving composition with its own duration, structure and visual identity.

HUMAN-AUTHORED

Technology is the instrument.
Authorship remains human.

AETHER artworks are created through original artist-authored code.

No generative AI is used to create the artwork, determine its composition or generate its motion.

The systems, visual decisions, timing and final compositions are developed and directed by the artist.

DESIGNED FOR SPACE

Motion with architectural restraint.

AETHER is developed specifically for environments where moving imagery must coexist with architecture, materials, light and people.

The works favour slow transformation over spectacle.

Movement is measured. Transitions are continuous. Compositions are designed to remain visually engaging over extended periods without demanding constant attention.

Created for hospitality, workplaces, residential developments, reception areas, healthcare, wellness, retail, cultural environments and large-format architectural displays.

THE WORK

Digital by nature.
Spatial in intention.

AETHER explores the space between abstraction, landscape, material, light and organic form.

Some works retain traces of the natural world. Others move towards almost entirely abstract structures.

Across the collection, the intention remains consistent: to create moving imagery that can alter the atmosphere of a space without overwhelming it.

The work is meant to be lived with.

Not simply watched.

PHILIPPE CEULEMANS

Artist and creator of AETHER.

AETHER was created by Philippe, a visual and generative artist working with code, movement and digital systems. His practice explores slow transformation, organic structure, abstraction and the relationship between digital imagery and physical space.

His moving-image work has been presented and curated through international digital-art platforms including NIIO, Blackdove, Loupe and Sedition.

AETHER extends this practice into a dedicated body of moving-image works created specifically for architectural, hospitality and professional display environments.
