PUBLIC SPACE

Moving art for the spaces people pass through — and remember.

AETHER transforms architectural screens into slow-moving visual landmarks for lobbies, atriums, cultural interiors and public-facing spaces.

AETHER / ARCHITECTURAL CONTEXT

A lobby display has a particular role: it is often one of the first visual elements a visitor encounters, yet it must continue to work throughout the day for many different audiences. AETHER moving artworks are designed for this type of repeated, ambient viewing. Instead of behaving like a playlist of promotional content, the screen can become part of the spatial composition itself.

Scale without visual noise

Large-format displays amplify every movement, cut and colour transition. AETHER therefore uses slow temporal structures and seamless loops that remain composed at architectural scale. Works can provide colour, depth and movement without relying on rapid edits or text. This is particularly useful in arrival spaces where the architecture, people and artwork all need room to coexist.

Suitable for diverse public-facing contexts

The collection can support commercial lobbies, mixed-use developments, cultural venues, healthcare reception areas, airports, premium retail environments and other spaces where a display is visible to a broad audience. Selection can be based on scale, palette, mood and the physical position of the screen.

Built as artwork, delivered for display

Each work combines artistic authorship with professional presentation requirements: high-resolution output, seamless playback and project-specific licensing. The systems behind the works are hand-coded, with no generative AI used to produce the artworks. That gives designers a stronger narrative than anonymous decorative media while retaining the practical advantages of digital display.
